New Features - 11-4 Build 2

Welcome to Collect! Version 11.4 Build 2. This latest version has several new features and functionality, as well as several optimizations and enhancements to existing features.

Automated Upgrade

You can now upgrade any version of Collect! with new streamlined upgrade functionality. In most cases, upgrades will take a fraction of the time it took to manually upgrade, with very few steps required.

Updated RDM Server

Collect!'s CV11 Server has been updated to the latest RDM Server 8.3 engine. Collect! Version 11.4 features a major renovation to our CV11 Server with a powerful new SQL handler and many other optimizations for managing your Collect! system efficiently and effectively.

tip.gif If you are upgrading from any previous version of Collect!, you must do a complete database upgrade to Version 11.4.

CV11 Server Options

You can now select different CV11 Server configurations in the Collect! Signon form. Collect! reads the configurations set in the connect.ini and builds a Server pick list available from the Collect! Splash Screen. You can select different CV11 Servers from one machine. This simplifies testing, troubleshooting and hosted solutions. You can easily switch to LOCAL protocol to speed batch processes running on your Server.

Local Protocol

Collect! now ships with a connect.ini configuration for using LOCAL protocol with Collect!. This enables you to easily switch to this protocol on the machine where your CV11 Server is running. Then you can perform system intensive batch processes in a fraction of the time it takes using TCP protocol. Speed up batch processing, archiving, UID check, financial reporting and more.

SQL Insert Records

The new Collect! Version 11.4 database engine enables you to insert records into Collect! from an external application with an ODBC connection to Collect!'s CV11 Server. Records from any SQL record type may be added. This includes Clients, Debtors, Contacts, Transactions, Attachments, Cosigners and more. Basically, all record types contained in the "collect" databases (d00_collect, d01_collect, d02_collect) may be inserted from external queries.

tip.gif You can use the CV11 Admin Tool to view the complete list of SQL record types in the "collect" database and to test your queries.

Variable Interest

The optional Variable Interest module is now fully functional. Just as in Collect!'s other interest modes, Variable Interest calculations will now take into consideration Rate Basis for each interest period and Payments made on accounts.

Authorization Code For Udp Protocol

A new addition to Collect!'s UDP Protocol dialer feature enables you to pass the current Client Number and Debtor Number to the dialer as an authorization code. This enhances Collect!'s auto dialing capabilities to provide added security, as required by some systems.

TCN Scrub Cell Phone Calls

A new switch in the TCN Schedule Calls form enables you to scrub cell phone calls in your call campaigns. When you switch this ON with a check mark, Collect! will alert TCN to scrub cell phone calls for the call campaign you are scheduling. This requires that you have enabled this option with your TCN Broadcasting provider.

TCN Scrub By ZIP

Collect! now ships with updated TCN Service reports, sending the Debtor's ZIP code, as well as Phone and other details. This enables you to use "Scrub by ZIP."

tip.gif Scrub by ZIP is a service that TCN Broadcasting provides. You must activate this with your TCN provider and they will ensure that your TCN templates are updated to process ZIP codes. Currently, Scrub By ZIP only works with United States Zip codes. For details, please speak with your TCN Broadcasting representative.
