Copy Operator Configuration
The Copy Operator Configuration feature enables you to set
configurations by User Level rather than by individual operator.
You can configure settings for a whole group of operators at
once.
This feature requires that you have already set the configuration
for one operator that is the same user level as the other
operators that you want to set. Then select this operator in the
Copy Operator Configuration screen. You will see the User Level
of this operator displayed.
You can choose to overwrite any CFG files that may exist already
for your operators, or leave them alone and only write a CFG file
for operators who do not have one yet.
When you select COPY to apply the settings, Collect! creates
a CFG file for each operator with the user level that is displayed
in the "Level" field. If you have selected "Overwrite existing,"
Collect! refreshes any CFG files that it finds for operators with
the same user level. Otherwise, these CFG files are left alone.

Copy Operator Configuration
If you have not yet set the configuration for one operator,
set all the WIP Options and other WIP settings and save the
configuration. Then you can select this operator and apply the
configuration to others of the same level.
Accessing Copy Operator Configuration
Select System from the top menu bar and then select
Rights, Copy Operator Configuration.

Accessing Copy Operator Configuration
ID
Select an Operator ID from the pick list. This must be
an operator who had a configuration saved already.
Level
This field displays the User Level of the Operator
selected in the ID field. All Operators with this
User Level will have the same configuration set
when you select COPY.
This field is read only.
Overwrite Existing
Switch this ON if you want Collect! to refresh the
configurations for all operators with the User Level
you are configuring. Leave the switch OFF if
you want to process only operators who do not
currently have a configuration file (CFG).

Troubleshooting
When you successfully run the Copy Operator Configuration

Copy Operator Configuration Successful
This means that Collect! has created a configuration file (CFG)
in the CV11\config folder for each Operator with the User Level
displayed in the Copy Operator Configuration form.
If Collect! cannot complete this operation successfully,
you will see a message indicating failure.

Copy Operator Configuration Failed
You can open Collect!'s Log Viewer to determine the
cause of the failure.

Application Log Entry for Copy Operator Configuration

User Level, you must set the configuration for one Operator
with that User Level and save it.
