Upgrading Your Exported Database To A New Installation
This method uses exported database files to upgrade into a new CV11 installation. Upgrade a CV8, CV10 or CV11 database using these procedures.

To obtain the exported database files for an upgrade:
Exporting Your CV11 Database
This procedure exports an entire CV11 database to a series of ASCII text and import files. These files can be used to upgrade your existing CV11 database to a newer version of CV11.

Exporting Selected Clients and Records
This procedure exports selected Clients and records from a CV11 database to a series of ASCII text and import files. These files can be used to upgrade into a new CV11 database.

Exporting Your CV8 Database
This procedure exports an entire CV8 database to a series of ASCII text and import files. These files can be used to upgrade your existing CV8 database to CV11.

Exporting Your CV10 Database
This procedure exports an entire CV10 database to a series of ASCII text and import files. These files can be used to upgrade your existing CV10 database to CV11.

Upgrading Multiple Databases
If you use more than one database in Collect!, you should upgrade them at the same time as your primary working database. Information about this process is explained so that you can upgrade your databases easily and quickly.
