| How To Upgrade Web Host
   To preserve your customizations, we do not automatically update  web host. If you do not have
  customizations, you can proceed to the instructions below. If you do have customizations, please
  ensure that you have detailed notes of what you have changed. If you have altered your  reports in
  webhost, please sign into Collect! in web host test mode or with 99 and export all of your custom
  reports into an .RPT file. Please refer to  How to Export Reports for more information.
 
 Take a backup of your database before proceeding.    
    Export all your reports to \html\db_files folder as a backup
        (Instructions).Export just your custom reports separately, so they can be imported back in after the
        upgrade.Export all your imports to \html\db_files folder as a backup
        (Instructions).Export just your custom imports separately, so they can be imported back in after the
        upgrade.Copy and Paste your exiting \html folder. If you get any Windows warnings about
        copying files in use, you can ignore these as the system will not copy the database files
        while in use.Delete all folders in the \html folder, except the "db" folder, if it exists.Unzip the  contents of the ZIP file from the Member Center to the \html.Run the \html\db_files\webhost_schema.bat
 If you have executed this query in the past, nothing will happen.      Open the \html\guest\index.html file with a text or HTML editor and update the company
        information to match your information.Sign into Collect! through the standard interface, NOT the Web Host interface.Select the masterdb_w import library
        (Instructions).Go to File >  Import/Export >  Customize Import/Export > Edit File FormatDelete all Imports.Load the new imports from imports.xml in the new html -> db_files folder
      (Instructions).Select the masterdb_w report library
        (Instructions).Go to Print >  Customize Printing > Edit Report TemplatesDelete all Reports.Import the new reports from reports.rpt in the new html\db_files folder
        (Instructions).Start the Webhost using and ID with a  user level of 1.Implement any customizations that you had done previously. 
 WARNING: This installation does not automatically carry any  client customizations with it.
             If you have customized your web host do not use this installation without consultation
             with Comtech or your own technicians. 
 custom CSS or images should be renamed to have _custom in the file name. We do not recommend
          that you customize system files. Customizations should be limited to the following: 
    CSS (make a comment in the top of the CSS file of what you changed)images (logo) language filesselect filesprint files |
