Editing A Debtor In Web Host

When viewing a Debtor via the Web Host, operators are able to make changes to a debtor's information. Every operator except the Client has access to go into the Edit page to edit the debtor's information.

To only allow specific operators to edit specific fields on the Edit page, an Editvars.txt file is used to control access rights.

The Editvars.txt files may be found in the HTML\Global folder. Please review the file and make your changes as needed. The comments and samples in the file demonstrate how to provide different user levels access to the fields and labels.

tip.gif When editing this file, every time it is changed, the Web Host must be restarted. The Web Host caches included text files when loading them for the first time. Closing the Web Host back to your Desktop clears this cache.
