Browse Contacts

Selecting the Browse Contacts command will display a list of all contact records.

tip.gif Review the documentation on Using Lists for very helpful tips on how to use a list efficiently.

The column headings in the Contact List display information from the Contact form. Each column heading is the actual name of the field on the Contact form. If you change the field label on the form, the next time you view a record list you will see that the field label change has applied to the list column heading as well. The default columns listed are Debtor, Type, Due Date, Priority, Description, Attachment, Collector and Done.

By default the list will display in order with Done as No, then in Type order. The active column is the Debtor column. By immediately typing a Debtor Name, Collect! will scroll to the contact that is the closest match.

You can quickly navigate to specific contacts using this list.

tip.gif If there is a current search on contacts, then the list will only contain the results of the search. Also if you have selected and tagged a number of the contact records, then selected the choice to view tags, only the tagged contacts will show in this list. Clearing the tags and also clearing the Search Criteria will restore the complete set so that all contacts are displayed in the list.
