| Rebuild Lists
 The Rebuild Lists command rebuilds Collect!'s meta-data tables
for  access rights and  printable information, and also updates
definitions for any import maps that exist in your database.  Select
File from the top menu bar and then select  Maintenance from
the drop-down choices. Select the REBUILD LISTS button
on the  Database Maintenance menu.
 You must be signed into Collect! using  Exclusive mode as
a  user who also has a  user level 99 assigned to the  operator.
 Collect! will immediately prompt you, if you are not signed
into Collect! using Exclusive mode, or Collect! will begin
the process.
 During the process, a message box on the screen lets you
know what is happening.
 When the rebuild process is finished, you may want to exit
Collect! and sign back in using Shared mode with your normal
operator ID and  Password.
 
 You can still rebuild these lists individually. You
should be signed in using Exclusive mode as a user level 99,
before rebuilding these lists. Accessing Rebuild ListsRebuilding Collect!'s meta data tables -  Access Rights,
 Import Field Definitions and  Printable Information, refreshes
your security settings, imports and  report writer functionality.
 There are two ways to rebuild these three lists:
 
1. Select File from the top menu bar and then select
Maintenance from the drop-down choices. This will display
the  Database Maintenance form. Select the
REBUILD LISTS button. Collect! will quickly rebuild the
three lists.
 2. Or, you may manually build each list individually,
following the steps below for each list.
  
 Rebuild Access RightsThis step is ensures that your  Access Rights are
operating correctly at all  User Levels.
 
1. Select System from the top menu bar and then select
 Rights from the drop-down choices. This
will display a submenu. Select Access Rights.
 2. Select the REBUILD button at the bottom of the screen.
 
 3. Your Access Rights will be updated. You may see a
message that  new  menus have been added. Select  OK.
Select OK again to close the  Access Rights list.
 
 4. You may sign into Collect! at various User Levels
to ensure that your access rights are now working properly.
  
 Update Import Field DefinitionsThis step updates information used when  importing data
into Collect!
  If you do not use the Import module, this step is not
 necessary.
 
1. Select File from the top menu bar and then select
 Import/Export from the drop-down choices. This will display a
submenu. Select  Customize Import/Export and another
submenu will appear.
 2. Select  Update Definitions. (Choose YES when prompted.)
 
 3. Your  Import Field Definitions will be updated.
 
 4. You may run a test Import to ensure that the update was
successful.
  
 Rebuild Printable InformationThis step is very important to ensure that your  Reports and
letters  print the correct data pulled from your database.
 
1. Select Print from the top menu bar and then select
Settings from the drop-down choices. This will display
a submenu.
 2. Select  Printable Information to display the
 Printable Field list.
 
 3. Select the REBUILD button at the bottom of the screen.
Select YES when asked "Rebuild Printable Information list?"
 
 4. Your Printable Information will be updated.
 
 5. You may test your reports to ensure that they are
printing properly.
