How To Control Where Printing Begins

If you are using an HP printer, you can control the location where your report or letter begins to print. This is useful if you want to print on your own Company Letterhead paper stock.

First, the Default Printer Stream option must be selected in Print -- Setup -- Report and Printer Setup.

To control where Collect! begins to print, use:

@l (This is the @ symbol followed by a lower case 'L')

This symbol is followed by a number indicating the line at which printing will start.

Example:

@l6 will start printing on line 6. (This is the @ symbol followed by a lower case 'L' and the number 6, the line where you want the printing to start.)

Alternatively, if you cannot use Printer Stream, you can leave the required number of blank lines at the top of your report or letter definition.
