Session or database handle is invalid.

The session handle or database handle (which incorporates the session handle) that was passed to a Core API (d_) function is invalid. You may be passing a session handle where a database handle is required, or vice versa. A valid session handle returned from s_login must be used.

First steps to try to resolve this issue:

1. Get everyone out of Collect!

2. Shut down and reboot your server.

3. Start Collect! again.

4. If the error occurs again right away, please refer to the Collect! Application Log for details. The logs may give you the answer you need.

tip.gif To access the Application Log, select System from the top menu bar and then select Diagnostics, Application Log. Ensure that the choice, Database, is selected with a check mark.

If your issue is still not resolved, please report the error to Collect! Technical Services. Please be prepared to outline the exact steps you took to produce the error so that we can help resolve it as quickly as possible.
