Comtech Systems Inc. Appoints New Vice President of Operations
Wednesday, December 20, 2006

VICTORIA, BC - Comtech Systems Inc. announced the appointment of H. Neal Cropper as Vice President of Operations for the company.

Cropper will report to Fritz Schulze, President and Director of the company. He joins Comtech Systems Inc. from IBM Canada where he held the position of Electronic Forms Marketing Representative.

Cropper brings with him extensive experience in all aspects of receivables management, delivering growth strategy programs for international businesses ranging in size from start ups to the global 500. Throughout his career, he has gained experience in several positions with various companies.

Prior to IBM Canada, Cropper was Sales Manager for Comtech Systems Inc., growing the company by 30% during his tenure.

Cropper started his business career in a unique way. He worked in the Mental Health Care field, helping chronically schizophrenic men. After 12 years in health care, he studied computer programming and database administration at CDI College of Business and Technology in Victoria, BC. In 2000, he accepted a position with Accounts Recovery Corp. located in Victoria. He then took over as Sales Manager for Comtech Systems Inc. until his departure in 2003. Next, he worked at PureEdge Solutions in the Marketing Department until the company was purchased by IBM Canada. IBM Canada asked if he would move to New Brunswick and so he left IBM Canada to start his own company EZServer.biz, a very successful website hosting provider currently serving many customers.

Cropper takes over from Maureen Iverson who has retired from the position following a 17 year career with Comtech Systems Inc. He will be based in the company's headquarters in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
