Collect! Tip of the Month |
Knowing your computer system is secure not only ensures compliance but also lets you sleep at night. You can lock down the Collect! installation to
prohibit access to key system files. The User Level access controls in Collect! allow you to fine tune what your users can see and/or modify. Make sure to log into your Collect! installation at every user level to be sure you know what your employees can and cannot do, based on user level. For more information on user levels see http://collect.org/cv11/Help/userlevelbasics.html |

Electronic Payment Providers |
Major Survey Finds Debit Card Use on the Rise Recurring payment plans are a powerful collections and negotiation tool. Many debtors choose to arrange recurring payments or automated transactions in order to better manage their finances. Available options include check and credit card payments entered either online, over the phone through your collection software or even through an automated IVR (Interactive Voice Response) channel. Recurring transactions can be created for a defined number of repeat transactions or until a given date is reached. Recurring payments benefit consumers by ensuring timely payments, thereby eliminating the consumer's risk of a late or forgotten payment. Recurring payments also eliminate the time and expense associated with manual payments, such as postage expenses. They benefit collectors by improving cash flow through timely and regular payments. Offering consumers alternative ways to repay a debt may also reduce stalled payments and excuses for non-payment. Although these options are convenient and offer numerous benefits, businesses must become familiar with the way they work and with the laws and regulations in order to use them. Electronic Payment Providers® (EPP) offers a powerful solution for recurring payment establishment for both ACH and Credit Card payments directly through the Collect! collection platform, utilizing the promise management feature. Additionally, EPP serves as your organization's compliance officer and will work with you to ensure that your money is moving through compliant channels. For a free evaluation of your current practices or for a demonstration on the establishment of a recurring payments system, please contact EPP at (877) 377-2677 or visit our web site at www.expresspayments.com.
