Features Showcase
Log File System
Event logging in the Collect! system has been completely revamped with a user-friendly comprehensive new Log Viewer. All messages and system return codes are displayed in one screen with settings you can customize. System diagnosis is greatly simplified and streamlined for easy tracking and troubleshooting. Please refer to Help topic, Collect! Log Viewer for details.

Start Scheduler Automatically
New switch in the Scheduler Settings enables you to start the Scheduler as soon as you sign in as a Scheduler Operator. Please refer to Help topic, Scheduler Settings for details.

Schedule Promise Events
Three new fields were added to the Contact Plan Event record for automatic scheduling of Promise events. These fields enable you to automatically fill in a Promise amount when creating a Promise through a contact plan. You can specify the Amount of the Promise as a percent of Owing or Settlement. These fields are hidden if the contact event type is not Promise. Please refer to Help topic, Event for details.

Don't Convert Case on Name Entry
This new switch in the "Screen and Messages" form enables you to control name formatting in the Debtor's Contact field. Default behavior (unchecked) will lower case the string and then upper case capitals. With the switch set, the name will be capitalized exactly as you typed it when it is transposed into the Contact field during data entry. For example, "VanAllen, James" by default transposes as "James Vanallen." With switch set, it tranposes as "James VanAllen." Please refer to Help topic, Screen and Messages for details.

Collection Advisor Magazine

Credit and Collection Technology for Today's Business Marketplace

With Collection Advisor magazine, collection professionals, creditors, debt buyers/sellers and others working in the collection arena finally have a publication that is practical, informative and innovative.

In its sixth year of publication with a circulation of 24,000, each issue of Collection Advisor is carefully planned to present the credit and collection professional a set of independent, comparative technology reviews. The selection criteria is based on specific categories - edited so we may offer due diligence in helping you make good buying decisions. For example, Comtech's Collect! is reviewed annually as part of a set of general software reviews.

Each issue includes a Round-Up feature with a set of vertical products and services complementing our technology reviews, while our "Advisor" columns pertain to collection industry issues: Agency, Skip Tracing, Legal, Management, Debt Buying and, of course, Collection Technology - authored by collection professionals who live and breathe these processes and systems each and every day.

Also included in each issue are features covering hot topics, including skip tracing, and the impact of technology on the collection and recovery industry. Our cover story is designed to emphasize real people who excel in their respective part of the collections and recovery profession.

Collection Advisor has no financial obligations, no debt, no corporate ownership with other holds, and no affiliation with any product of any kind. Our only goal is to serve the readers' need to be better informed about collection management using technology.
