Collect! offers a comprehensive suite of instructional and reference documents, global user groups and support services to help you get the most out of Collect!

Our technical services are second to none! We have qualified, skilled and friendly people manning our technical service desks. We're fast and efficient, and we truly care! Just ask our existing customers.

You benefit with our Membership Packages that give you access to our business and technical experts, and get you software updates within the same major version number throughout the year. We work with you to help keep your systems up-to-date and effective.

Your Collect! software system offers a 30 day trial and 60 days free membership. That's a full 90 days to check out the system! In that time we can help you get up and running, answer your questions, and work with your technical staff and/or consultants to make sure your system works reliably from day one.

Your first line of defense is within your reach instantly, is very practical, and is available to you now.

  • Pop up help is available throughout Collect!
    • Keep your mouse poised over any field in question for a moment.
    • A blue box will pop up giving information pertaining to that field.

    • Need more detail, press the F1 key.
    • An html page will appear, scrolled to information on the subject you have hi-lighted.

Walk-Through

If you want step-by-step assistance talking with a technician, then our Walk-Through service may be the answer for you. We can take the time you need to deal with your issues. You merely purchase our technicians' time at the current going rate.

With remote control systems such as PC Anywhere, VNC or Windows XP®'s Remote Assistance feature, you can let us dial into your system and we can work together. Have your technician set you up and benefit with remote access.

Training

If you want topic focused guidance then our Training services may be the answer for you. We can train you and your staff to increase your effectiveness and productivity. With remote control systems such as PC Anywhere, VNC or Windows XP®'s Remote Assistance feature we can dial into your system and if you have a speaker phone we can train you and your staff quickly and cost effectively. You can also have your staff attend our offices and obtain training here.

Consulting

Use our experience to leverage your operations. Whether it's as mundane as refining your redundant backup strategies to designing your next generation Linux server cluster, we can give you tips and tricks that can save time and money. Why reinvent the wheel? If someone has done it with Collect! then we likely know something about it. If someone has asked about it then we've thought about it.

Report And Letter Development

We can help you create letters and reports to suit your exact requirements. The print engine in Collect! is a powerful scripting engine and it can be used to create the most remarkable output. Reports can be designed to print directly to your spreadsheet or your browser. You can use our expertise to help you get the most out of Collect!.

Import/Export Development

We can help you efficiently build import/export systems using the flexible and comprehensive Import/Export system in Collect! Let us apply our years of experience to save you time and money. If you don't have the time, or if you want expert assistance to help guide your technical team, we have experience in all aspects of data import/export development.

We have converted from many systems including Boost, Debtmaster, FACS (Ontario Systems), CUBS and many others. Conversions require planning and we can offer our expertise to help your conversion go smoothly and effectively.

Custom Development Work

Collect! is very flexible and you can customize it to do just about anything. In some cases, you might have a great idea that would help make things work better for you. If you have a new feature you'd like to see in Collect! we'd love to hear about it. Collect! was built from user feedback, so please email your ideas anytime to 'ideas@collect.org'.

Our development policy is simple:

  • If a feature is generally useful for our users then we will put the request into our development queue and it will be built as time permits based on our schedule.
  • If the feature is generally useful but you want it in a hurry then rush charges may apply.
  • If the feature is not generally useful then fees are charged based on simple and materials.


Please Note

  • Membership is not generally One-on-One Training or Walkthroughs - There is a big difference between membership and one-on-one training, walkthroughs, consulting and custom development work.

  • Desk Level - Our standard member plan offers a service liaison meaning a person in our office is the designated technical contact to your team. This allows us to learn the way you use our incredibly flexible software. If you wish to have more than one person in your office contacting our support desk directly, please contact your services liaison for more information on what we need to ensure the security of your site.

  • Custom Projects - You may want us to build a custom report, or design an import process. For any of the services we offer we may require a retainer throughout the work.

  • 3rd Party Software - Our staff often cannot answer questions involving software from other manufacturers. Our Training and Consulting services may be used for third party software assistance, if we have in house expertise available.
