GoLiveSMS Send Text Message

Collect! enables you to send text messages with the Send Text Message utility available through the Tools, Utilities menu. Collect! uses your GoLiveSMS account setup to send messages directly out of Collect!. Simply enter the phone number and message you want to send. GoLiveSMS will use its SMS Gateway to deliver your message.

This feature requires that you have an account set up with GoLiveSMS.

GoLiveSMS Send Text Message

To set up Send Text Message, enter your GoLiveSMS account details in the GoLiveSMS Setup form. You can reach this form through System, Preferences. Select the GOLIVESMS SETUP button to open the setup form. Or select the SETUP button in the GoLiveSMS Send Text Message form.

Phone Number

Enter the phone number you wish to send text message to.

Text Message

Enter the message you wish to send.

Help

Select the HELP button for help on GoLiveSMS Send Text Message and related topics.

Setup

Select the SETUP button to enter the details of your GoLiveSMS account.

This feature requires that you have an account set up with GoLiveSMS.

Cancel

Select the CANCEL button to close the GoLiveSMS Send Text Message form without sending a message.

Send

Select the SEND button to send your message to the GoLiveSMS gateway for processing.

Troubleshooting Send Text Message

You may not be able to send text messages successfully if the mobile carrier is not supported.

GoLiveSMS Send Text Message Failure

Details of failed attempts are logged to the Collect! Application Log.

Collect! Log Viewer GoLiveSMS Error

To log errors in the Collect! Application Log, please ensure that "Enable Debug Logging" is switched ON in the GoLiveSMS Setup form.
